ExchangeVerification guide
Verification guide

Understand verification. Keep control of your information.

Learn what a provider’s identity process can involve and how to handle a verification question safely.

WHAT IS KYC?

Identity checks,
in context.

Know Your Customer is a process a service may use to confirm a customer’s identity.

A live exchange provider may request information based on its own rules and the circumstances of an order. The scope, timing, and requirements belong to that provider.

This local app explains the process but does not perform identity verification. It does not collect government documents, selfies, or biometric information.

Verify the request

Confirm which provider is asking, what order it relates to, and where the secure process takes place.

Protect your wallet

An identity check should never require a seed phrase or private key. Keep wallet access separate.

Ask before uploading

If the request is unclear, keep the exchange ID and ask a question without attaching sensitive documents.

A TYPICAL PROVIDER PROCESS

Know what to expect.

  1. 1

A request linked to an order

The provider explains why more information is needed and identifies its secure verification process.

  2. 2

    Review the provider’s instructions

Check its privacy information, required documents, and supported process before sharing anything.

  3. 3

Follow up through a verified channel

Keep the order ID and any reference number. The provider decides whether its checks are complete.

There is no document-upload or verification-approval form here. A local account does not establish a verified financial identity.

KEEP IT SIMPLE
